The paint, the interior, the car.

This is my mothers dream car. She almost got one as a 20 year old. I’ll have to ask her if she’s cool with me publicizing the story. She actually sent this to me this morning, and I told her that I wished I could buy it for her.

Anyway, fucking sweet car. Happy Thursday.

When I was a kid, my next door neighbor had a hunter green E-type convertible, and it was damn cool. I never rode in it, but he took my brother to his country club a few times for lessons in it, before his wife said that it was unsafe to drive a child in such an old car (at which point he bought a hunter green V12 XJS convertible to go with it). They had good taste in cars their other rides were an SHO and a Passat wagon (my brother broke the taillight on that hitting a golf ball in the front yard).
